Students together with staff members of the Department of Special Education have been frequently visiting Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) at UNESCO since December 2018. The aim of the study visit is networking, looking at the possibilities of carrying out research, collaborating with UIL, capacity building and to provide our students a unique opportunity to broaden their knowledge. The visit included presentations from staff members at UNESCO UIL such as public relations specialist, program coordinators and administrators. The presentations also highlighted UIL’s work in relation to special education and people with disabilities. Students had the opportunity to talk to interns who shared their experiences.
