Samuel L. Odom is Professor of Special Education at the School of Education, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Director of the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute. His scholarship on child development, early interventions, research methods, evidence-based pedagogy, and innovative strategies for children with autism makes a great contribution to the field of Special Education and has influenced and inspired policy and practice.  Samuel L. Odom has received several awards for his extraordinary work for children's development and well-being and he is linked to several projects at the department of Special Education at Stockholm University.
